This message was written by the us army for the people of japan. the us tried to warn japan that they were dropping a second atomic bomb after they let them know what they were doing and they refused to honarably surrendor to the u.s. after they didnt they had several other large countrys declare war on them. naw they are getting in over there head. the tone of this document is like what they do today. they send a letter telling them what to do and then they dont do it and we attack them and it is a verry breath taking battle against japan. theese documents that were all reading today is a further understanding of what we were to do if another country declared a nuclear war on us. theese letters are for the people to read so that they know whats going on. our understandings of the decision to drop the atomic bomb back then hasnt changed verry much form then to now. we take into considderation that the country may be stronnger than we are. so then we take in that they can have more soildures than we do. the desicion is about the same today is it was then in the time of the first atomic bomb drop.
